Preparation
Do use the styles provided by
AIP. LaTeX and MS Word Style Files are available at AIP website. It is very important to
follow the instructions exactly as they are described by AIP. Click Author
Instructions and then click 6 x 9 format.
To use previously published
materials from a book or journal, you must obtain written permission from the
original publisher and/or author. Redrawing, reproducing or acknowledgement is
not enough even if it is your own work. Always obtain permission in doubt. It
is your responsibility to obtain permission to use copyrighted material. Write
for permission as early as possible before your manuscript deadline. Most
publishers offer submission of permission requests online or via email. For
example; Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, AIAA. No need for AIP, American Vacuum Society and American
Physical Society Journals, and for the public document e.g. US government
reports, NASA/DOE publications. If necessary, please use provided form to request the permissions.
When the signed permission is returned to you, please
insert any necessary credit lines in your figures or table legends and submit
the signed permission to Kimiya KOMURASAKI via FAX, email, airmail or on site.
Authors are requested to submit
a Microsoft word file by email to komurasaki@k.u-tokyo.ac.jp by November 14th, 2005
and a print-out of the entire manuscript (single sided) on the conference
site to check for conversion/printing problems. Postscript files and PDF files
are acceptable instead of Microsoft word files, though LaTex files are not
acceptable. They have to be converted to postscript or PDF files. When authors prepare pdf files, make sure to embed all fonts and
graphics when saving the file, and to set the distiller for
creating the file optimized for print, instead of optimized for web
viewing.
